DOS Program

DOS Program

Firstly, im new to QBasic and am not to sure what this package could do for me.

Im trying to create a DOS program to check the drives of a PC, note the Serial number, total,used and free space of each, collect and tcpip addess etc, can this be done as part of a boot disk with a exe on?

secondly can i get hold of a free copy of Qbasic and any code which maybe of help

where can i find a link to download VB dos
